What is Reiki?
Reiki is a healing method that originated in Japan. The practitioner channels healing energy through their hands to the client, through a light touch either directly on the body or from a distance. It is based on the idea that all living beings have life energy flowing through them. When life energy is high, your pets are healthy and balanced, more relaxed, and less likely to get sick. When it is low, they’ll often be more easily affected by stress and less resistant to illness.
*Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions, perform medical treatments, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional.*
**Reiki is a safe complement to, but never a replacement for veterinary diagnosis and treatment.**
What to expect from Reiki services
Your pet is in control.
Animals are always given the option to accept Reiki indirectly or via hands-on methods.
Animals are always given the option of duration and intensity of a session. (*If needed, sessions will be given in multiple "mini-sessions.")
Reiki can not and will not be "forced," only "offered" and "accepted."
Safety and comfort of all parties is paramount.
As with boarding, animals must be fully vaccinated..
How do you, the owner, know if it is working?
Once your pet has been assessed and offered Reiki, we will provide you with a written report of "Observations," and "Recommendations," detailing each session.

Distant (remote) Reiki "mini-session"

I am Erin Oristian, an Usui Ryoho Reiki Master and certified Animal Reiki Practitioner. Since 2014, I have been providing Reiki sessions and services for various domestic animals, including, but not limited to cats, dogs, horses, and the occasional human. I combine Reiki with my knowledge, experience and natural intuitive talents to provide the highest possible benefit for all my clients.
